The client portal is important while we work together. You will complete necessary paperwork, schedule sessions, pay, and print receipts through this portal.
The client portal is secure, and the therapists will use it as the main way of communicating with you between sessions. Due to the nature of counseling, your therapist may be in the office but unable to answer calls. All therapists will check the portal several times a day during workdays and get back to you as soon as possible usually within a 48-hour time frame Monday through Friday.
If you are unable to make it to your session because an emergency or something urgent prevents you from attending, please email your therapist or call the front desk at 214-494-0284. Dallas-Fort Worth Talk Therapy PLLC cannot offer text support between sessions. Please use the message option within the client portal to reach your therapist with questions about scheduling, billing or other concerns.
Crisis: If you are in a crisis or in need of immediate medical attention call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are struggling with thoughts of suicide, call the suicide hotline 1800-273-8255.
Cancellations and Scheduling Reminder: A reminder will be sent from the client portal 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you need to cancel an appointment you can do so, here in the portal or send your therapist a message up to 48 hours prior to your session. If you do not cancel before that 48-hour notification your account will be charged the standard cancelation fee. If you do not see the option to cancel but your appointment is still showing on the schedule that means the window of time to cancel has passed and your account will be charged the cancellation fee.
Wait List: If your therapist is full and you cannot book a time with them, please add yourself to the wait list. You will be notified once an opening becomes available.
